Love to paint your painting, having some trouble getting the numbers not to show, when I’m finished. The yellows and orange paint . Having trouble hiding them.
I’m calling it finished at this point. I filled in the colours as indicated but then went back over everything to detail and blend, using the original painting for reference. This time, I ordered 24 colours but would go with a larger number next time because I ran short on a couple of numbers. Had comparable colours on hand so it wasn’t a big issue. I’m very pleased with the result.
I have not done a paint by numbers since I was a kid. I saw this because it looks exactly like my Wiley who sadly died from kidney disease. I had been hoping to start my own portrait of him but kept putting it off then I saw this and got inspired. I'm not quite down but so far I am pleased with the progress. I will send some pics as soon as possible. About halfway and when complete.
