Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 2.8 / 5 from 4 reviews.
The colors on this painting were so far off as to make this painting a waste of time. Look for example at the side of the books. I can see no detail there. Look at the left side of the bowl....there is no white on that bowl in the photo on the webpage. While the cat face is quite realistic looking, very little else of this painting lived up to expectations I had when looking at the website picture. I had to go in and touch up the background and the left side of the bowl despite not having remotely close colors to choose from. Overall, this one was a tremendous miss and has caused me to pause buying any more paintings. It was a big investment of my time for a painting I won't display.
I've sent a message to your customer service about this, but haven’t heard back. Several of the colors on the bottom half of the canvas are wrong. Zoom in on the pictures I attached and you’ll see. I stopped working on it because colors that should be lighter shades of tan/light brown are shades of black. Since the cat is also black, 75% of the painting will be black. The books are black, the side of the bowl in shadow is black, the cat has no color patches- just all black, the background between the cat’s face and the books is black. It’s horrible! I notice that the picture of that painting here in this email is a lot darker than the one I thought I was getting. All these areas I mentioned are tans in the picture that came with the actual package. I bought 2 other PBN’s and now I’m hesitant to start on them, in case the same paint color issue comes up. I spent a lot of hours (and $30) on the cat one and it was all a waste of time! This is very, very disappointing. If you want more comment about this, please find the email I sent you 2 days ago from berda2@yahoo.com.
