How to Blend Paint by Numbers for Smoother, More Professional Results

A simple way to do this is by using two colors at once on the same brush and creating a soft transition where they meet.

- The two paint colors you want to blend
- A small brush
- A palette or clean surface
How This Blending Method Works

Place a small amount of one color on the left side of your palette and the other color on the right.
Dip one side of your brush into the left color and the other side into the right color.

Once you have that blended middle color, lightly paint along the interface where the two sections meet. Keep the same side of the brush facing its matching color as you paint.
This helps soften the line between the two sections and makes the transition look much more natural.
