Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.1 / 5 from 7 reviews.
I love doing this. I'm so keen to get started with my next one I want it on the way to me before I have finished this painting.
The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the design is really cute. But the paints are TERRIBLE! Out of the 24 colors, not one of them had enough pigment to cover the canvas in one coat. I had to paint 2 or 3 coats for most colors, and some I had to paint 7-8 coats. This was especially true for the white paint. Even after 7-8 coats, you could still see a faint pink line and number underneath the paint. Although the lines and numbers for the white areas were printed in black, after 7-8 coats of paint, they turned pink. I tried to capture this in the photo. I ordered 3 other kits from Craftoria from this Christmas village series and had the same problem with the paints on all of them. I will not be ordering from Craftoria again. I was much happier with the paints in kits I ordered from three other paint by numbers companies.
Brian at Craforia very kindly gifted this paint by numbers kit to a terribly unwell young lady in hospital over Christmas. I know cost of living has hit everyone, so not many businesses or individuals can afford to give, but this meant the kind gesture was treasured and appreciated even more. I gave 4 stars because the number stickers for the paint pots had nearly all come away in transit, and weren't sufficiently sticky to stay on the pot lids, but otherwise a wonderful product. Thank you!
I haven't started it yet. I'm sure I will enjoy it ☺️
I find the dark blue sky hard to get an even color and on the lighter colors you need to paint over the number several times so it doesn’t leak thru. I find the paint hard to be absorbed into the canvas leaving white specks showing thru. I haven’t done the other two, but expect them to be the same.
Me encantó el material por su excelente calidad, sus pinturas y pinceles. Fue muy bonito pintar ese lienzo y lo recomiendo muchísimo
I especially like the customer service. My emails are answered promptly by an actual person.
